We Hold These Truths to be Self Evident

In any other timeline except the one we’re in, a scandal this large would consume an entire administration. But we don’t live in that timeline. At a time when food benefits are stripped from the poor, where insurance continues to skyrocket while not actually paying for healthcare, and while billions is spent to deport immigrants while doing nothing to those that hire them, 93 billion (with a B) was spent in one month, September of 2025. The most wasteful organization on the planet gets blank checks year after year after year, to the point where they have to spend it on anything and everything they can just so they can spend it all, with no oversight and no auditing or accountability. The US spends nearly 1 trillion a year now on the “defense” of America, while not having been directly attacked since 1941. And when the government wants to save a few million dollars, they don’t even begin to look at the unlimited money the military industrial complex receives.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — America will only continue to decline as long as they refuse to believe there are things more important than money. And the longer this Iran war goes on, the more the US and the world will see the consequences of that belief. And the more isolated the US will become as the rest of the world will be brought down with the US. The resentment will grow, and the hegemony America has held will continue to erode. And honestly, Americans need to feel the pain for a long time before they take their governments back from the Nazis and fascists and wild-eyed religionists and zionists.

I don’t have a lot of optimism for the long-term prospects for America though, as both Russia and China both work to undermine the US by sending intelligence and weapons to Iran. And the politicians will continue to fund these unnecessary wars, while life within the US for the citizens continues to decline. How long that can go on, no one really knows. And if the Republicans/MAGA are able to fuck with elections enough to continue to win despite their extreme unpopularity, the end may be abrupt and dramatic, as they have ejected most of the educated people from the party if the facts they find don’t fit their ideology.

And it’s starting to look like the apparent reason for the war, regime change in Iran, should actually be occurring in the countries who have started the war. But with that regime change must come fundamental change of focus and goals within them, and those who have lived off the spoils for so long will do anything to stop it from happening.

That is a direct quote from the third in line to the US presidency. So at this point, their justification for a war against Iran is that they worship the wrong God, that is to say, it is a holy war against Islam. But there’s nuance in how he said it. He said that they “want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and they’d like to take us out as well.” So to me this is saying that USA is only a secondary target while Israel is a primary target. Other regime lackeys, like Marco Rubio and Pete Hegseth as mentioned in the article, have echoed those comments, often while hypocritically promoting Christian Nationalism themselves.

I have never heard a justification for a war like this in my life. It’s always couched in terms that threaten our safety, but never in terms of it being in any way influenced by what religion they practice, which honestly would be kinda weird since our country was founded on freedom of religion.

But I don’t believe anything this regime says, the truth is always by reading between the lines. To me, the real reason is simpler: distract from the illegal non-release, partial release, and redacted release of the Epstein files, a law that has been passed but still hasn’t been carried out. The heat had been on, and as Trump himself said in the past, in my opinion he started the war to distract from him being one of the ringleaders of the largest sex trafficking, child molestation, and child rape rings ever discovered in America. And right before the “war” and kidnapping of the leader of Venezuela and the current war in Iran, the heat had been rising on his involvement.

And he’ll do absolutely anything to distract from that.

This article is the perfect encapsulation of the corrupt bargain at the heart of the right wing politicians and the so-called Christians in America: they point fingers at others for their supposed moral failings, but do not hold their own accountable. When asked, “At any time during you[r] tenure as director of the Department of Homeland Security, have you had sexual relations with Corey Lewandowski?” her answer was “Mr Chairman I am shocked we are going down and peddling tabloid garbage today at this committee.”

Perhaps its the idea that “their own” deserve forgiveness, while others do not, but it’s not even that–members of their own faith, if not part of the Republican/MAGA regime, will face the same fire. So it becomes clearer and clearer that modern evangelical Christianity is no longer a religion, other than their fanatical, anti-intellectual bent, but a political ideology in the trappings of a religion, one of the most dangerous combinations that can be imagined. That means that there are no consequences for bad actions by politicians, because they are all waved away, like this obvious adultery, because it’s not the action that matters, but what ideology they ascribe to. And that means that any action is ignorable or forgivable, even child rape. And the politicians know this, because they know they will never be voted out no matter what they do, and so they have no reason to be better.

Here are the arguments or reasons that I will no longer accept from the right, because they fight for them or believe in them only when it’s the other side.

1. For the children: They don’t care to do anything to lower the rate at which they are shot in school. They actively protect and cover up for child sexual predators. They don’t think kids have any right to expect to not starve in the richest country in the history of the world. I will no longer accept this as legitimate.
2. The Constitution: Let’s see: selling pardons, accepting lavish gifts from foreign governments, end of due process, forcing religion into schools and government, and the list goes on and on. In fact, the only consistent Constitution argument is about the 2nd amendment, but I am fully confident that if the Maga president says “take the guns and go through due process later” and took the guns, MAGA would bend over and gladly take it. They’ve already shown they will sacrifice their kids (guns, Epstein) and grandparents (Covid), so I have no doubt they will sacrifice anything and everything. And that is why I will no longer accept “but the Constitution” as a valid argument.
3. The deficit/debt: Not only have Republican presidents been responsible for the vast majority of the deficit debt, they’ve presided over practically all of the financial crashes that have occurred over the last 50 years. Yet when a Republican is in power, nary a word has been spoken about how much the deficit explodes when they are in power. Not to mention when they are in power the unemployment levels go up, the spending levels go up, and the GDP declines. The idea that they are better stewards of the economy is farcical on its face.

You chose the MAGA party because you didn’t want to expose your children to things like “trans” or “gay”, and now you’re having to endure the most vile sex scandals I could even imagine. Almost the entire government is implicated in the biggest child rape and trafficking ring ever discovered on American soil, and one of its ringleaders is the President.

Do you tell your kids to be like him? Surely not. Do you tell your kids NOT to be like him? Then how do you explain your vote?

Is it the abortion thing? Voting for the ringleader of a child rape syndicate and self-admitted serial sexual predator is better than someone who supports a woman’s right to choose over the government’s control of a woman’s body? How do you square these things? And what you got wasn’t outlawing of abortion nationwide. You got state’s rights. So you just need to travel to a state that allows it. Is that what you fought for? What you lied for? What you sacrificed your children and grandparents for?

And how about your ability to recruit or witness? There’s not a single sane individual out there that believes anything you say anymore, believes that you have any kind of moral authority on anything, that believes that you have any moral standing whatsoever. I was worried after the election that people would start running to religion, but I’m not worried anymore. In fact, the exit from religion could very well accelerate now that so many Christians can’t pluck up the courage to exhibit a little empathy, or demand justice for pedophiles, or speak out against greed and corruption, or fight for values like integrity, honor, and truthfulness against the most corrupt group ever elected in American history. You squandered all that for a taste of temporary power.

And the idea that your morality is “unchanging” is in absolute tatters, as you follow to the letter exactly what the MAGA party says you do. Guns don’t need controls because MAGA says so. In the 90s you were pro gun control. Who do you think led the fight against assault weapons after the Columbine massacre? You did. You used to be against greed. Now you’re pro-capitalism and your motto seems to be, “Fuck you, I’ve got mine.” You used to be advocate for the poor, one of the few things that is unequivocally the same throughout the old and new testaments, and now, they’re a nuisance to be swept away, to be ignored, to be shamed. You used to be anti-gambling, but you gave up on that and now a large portion of the country seems to be consumed with betting of all types, especially sports betting.

All this because you believed that politics wasn’t about policy where there are always tradeoffs, but was a holy war in which no cost was too high to pay. And any decline that you suffer, any slights that you endure, and any psychological wounds you might encounter, no one will have the slight bit of sympathy for you, because you used the Bible as an axe to attack the vulnerable instead of a shield to protect the weak, a weapon instead of a peacemaker, and a instrument of torture rather than a blanket of comfort.

As often claimed when taking control away from a woman over her own body and that control given to Christo-fascist nation-state actors (stolen from a reddit comment):

“If kids/life were actually sacred, healthcare wouldn’t be optional, vaccines wouldn’t be political, and poverty wouldn’t be fatal.”

And if I could add to the “protecting children” fake rhetoric, may I also add:

• We wouldn’t need bullet-proof backpacks or active shooter drills
• We would lower the barriers to adoption
• We would not use the power of religious communities to ostracize vulnerable LGBT children
• We would be going after child molestation/rape cabals, not covering up for them, actively and passively (Epstein/Trump)
• We would not be breaking up families to pursue meaningless deportation numbers

I think the scariest (and frankly saddest) thing I’ve learned over the past few years of watching MAGA and their kkkult in action is that at their core, they don’t believe in anything, with perhaps 2 exceptions, those exceptions possibly being gun ownership and abortion restrictions.

So let me define what I mean “believe in” here…I mean, principles, philosophies, etc. that extend beyond a political party. For example, do they believe in protecting children? I would vehemently argue that answer is no, for multiple reasons. First, they only believe in protecting fetuses, not children already alive. You would think a “protecting children” belief would extend to protecting them from being shot in school, or preventing them from acquiring preventable diseases like measles, or preventing them from starving by using the unlimited money the USA possesses to provide children one guaranteed free meal at school. None of those things are true. From a regulatory standpoint, they only seem to care to legally circumscribe abortion and birth control, which heavily implies that their concern is about how people have sex, not any inherent concern for “children.” Not only that, but they have been actively covering up for a child sex abuser in DJT and the offenders in their churches.

The second possibility is that they believe in gun ownership with virtually no limitations, but again, I don’t believe it. Only the Democratic party has made any overtures to limit gun ownership in any way, and they only suggested that we tighten the rules about owning terror weapons, and even though polling indicates there is wide support for this amongst all Americans, the MAGA party blocked any attempt to pass legislation. However, I full believe that if a MAGA president were to say, “Hey, we’re coming for your guns,” that the cult would immediately turn around and bend over. Or they might complain, but they would reward the political party by continuing to vote for them in elections. The propaganda is so deep that they truly believe that all the Democratic party cares about is killing babies and making sure trans girls can compete in women’s sports.

So aside from those two points, there is no coherent ideology behind conservatism: it’s just mask-off racism, sexism, and refusal to adapt or change. There’s absolutely nothing admirable about it…it’s opposition for opposition’s sake.

in a post on r/politics referring to the article “Trump’s Second Term Has Ended the Conservative Era”, which details an opinion piece from the NYT:

“MAGA in it’s (sic) unhinged madness is exactly what I thought Conservatives would do once they had enough power to dispense with all the erudite bullshitting and pretense of old-timey civility. The NYT can go fuck themselves for providing cover to Conservatives by continuing to play along with the lie.”

MAGA is mask-off Conservatism.“

And this is from another r/politics post of a news media article called “Trump’s letter to Norway proves it: he’s lost his mind over the Nobel Peace Prize” where they talk about Trump’s direct quote that the reason he’s taking Greenland is because he’s mad at Norway for not giving him the Nobel Peace Prize. To be fair, he’s not mad at Norway for not giving him the prize, he’s mad at them for giving it to Obama, but not him. So a user writes,

“Dear Donald,

Norwegian Nobel committee here. Not sure why you sent a letter to the PM who has nothing to do with the prize. It’s not awarded by ‘Norway’, it’s awarded by a committee working on behalf of a dead Swede. We have read your letter carefully and analyzed the situation and concluded that we will not, ever, award you a peace prize. We will however award two more to Barack Obama, who also gets an additional three to give to friends and family. In fact, this time we made sure the Obama family dog also got one. Enjoy your weekend”

I mean, they long ago stopped trying to hide it, but now the most corrupt administration (and sycophantic members of Congress) in American history is just straight-up taking it for themselves. Specifically, Trump is putting the recent sale of $500 million into Qatari banks. And that lie outside the reach of American institutions, which seems very strange. Why can’t American banks hold the money? Because it is a “neutral location from which the funds could be freely and safely moved without risk of seizure.” I guess that’s a strange government-speak code-way to say “embezzle.”

He’s funneling half a billion dollars from assets he seized using the US Military into accounts he personally controls. Into banks operated outside the world banking system and whose monarch “gifted” him a Boeing jet.

If anyone on the right says a goddamn word about Hunter Biden, I swear to fucking Christ it will take all of my Christian patience to not full on punch them in the face.

Here are a couple of snopes.com verifications of files released with the Epstein files. According to reports, the Department of Justice, recently renamed to the Department of Vengeance, has only released 1% of the files required by law.

First off, Trump was the accomplice to infanticide, according to this account. The complainant also wrote in this account that Trump “participated regularly in paying money to force me to [redacted] with him and he was present when my uncle murdered my newborn child and disposed of the body in Lake Michigan.”

2nd, it turns out that when Trump admitted to grabbing them “by the pussy”, that was not a one-off, that was actually his M.O. and he had a nickname that reflected that. He was said to “grab snatch” in a jailhouse letter Epstein wrote to Larry Nassar, a known child molester, in reference to Trump.
